‘Satellite Stream’ Release Party in Brighton

We will be celebrating the release of Acquaintance’s debut album, Satellite Stream, this evening in Brighton. The Green Door Store is the place to be from 11pm, as all four Anti-Ghost Moon Ray artists take to the decks to spin their favourite music. We’re also honoured to be joined by guest DJs Markings and Matthew Balaam, the latter of whom has kindly created a mix to get us in the mood…

More information about the night is available here. Hope to see you!

Acquaintance LP Launch – Green Door Store – Brighton – 17 April

All four of the Anti-Ghost Moon Ray artists are releasing albums this year. To celebrate this, and in particular the first release – Acquaintance’s ‘Satellite Stream’, which came out in early March – we’re having a party.

We’re very pleased to welcome MARKINGS as our headline DJ. As part of Aka Aka Roar, Markings is responsible for bringing some of the best underground music to Brighton dancefloors. Expect intelligent but hard-hitting club sounds, taking in house, techno, bass music and beyond. www.soundcloud.com/markingsuk

Our second guest is MATTHEW BALAAM, a Brighton DJ and record collector who organizes semi-secret and ridiculously fun nights in London as part of Square Root. Matt is known for his eclectic sets, but we can expect it all to be deep, soulful party music. www.soundcloud.com/matty-balaam

Arrive early to catch rare DJ sets by all of the Anti-Ghost Moon Ray artists:AcquaintanceGazelle TwinBernholz, and Great Pagans. We will be spinning a range of music including experimental electronics, acid, R&B, deep house, noise, disco… and more.

The 405 review ‘Satellite Stream’

“You’ll get repeatedly lost amongst his music, and with every subsequent excursion, you’ll stumble across something new to cherish. There aren’t many albums out there with such replayability.” – Larry Day from The 405

The 405 award a 7.5/10 review to Acquaintance‘s upcoming debut album ‘Satellite Stream’. Out next Monday.
